The ZEGA Evo launches a new generation of Touratech's legendary Alukoffer system. The ZEGA Evo combines the ten thousand times proven robustness of its predecessors with an extra comfortable handling – not least thanks to a completely new hanging mechanism.

In 1992, the ZEGA Case was the first aluminium case manufactured on a motorcycle in accordance with industrial quality standards and decidedly used for use on a motorcycle, setting the standard for luggage transport on the travel enduro. Since then, the ZEGA product family has been continuously developed and has been the state-of-the-art solution for demanding adventure bikers for more than 25 years. ZEGA Evo: Robust base

The brand new ZEGA Evo marks the latest state of development of suitcase development. This modern aluminium case shares the basic design features with its predecessor models. These are a 1.5 millimeter aluminium body, the riveted bottom, hinge-function closures, the removable lid, a strong lid profile with seal and last but not least robust corner protectors.

ZEGA Evo: Completely new hanging mechanism

An absolute world first is the suspension system for attaching the ZEGA Evo to the luggage rack. The suitcase only needs to be hung in the carrier and locked with a slight pressure on the clamping lever at the back of the suitcase; in addition, it can be completed. Even if the mechanism is not locked, a locking mechanism reliably prevents independent unlocking.
To remove the case, a release button is first pressed and the clamping lever can be loosened. All this is done conveniently with one hand.

The new suspension and locking mechanism clearly surpasses the proven system in terms of robustness, but above all it sets standards in usability in all applications between everyday life and expedition with its outstandingly comfortable handling.

ZEGA Evo: Smart Details

The rounder design of the closure elements results in a pleasant feel and significantly improved operating comfort. Of course, the additional function as a hinge is retained, so that the lid can not only be removed completely, but can also be folded up at the front or at the back as required.
The lid is now manufactured as a deep-drawn part like the floor, which means that welding seams can be dispensed with.
The robust connection of the body and floor is ensured in a proven manner by high-quality rivets. The tightness of the lid is ensured by circumferential profiles with form-fitting cross-sections. A further improved ventilation relieves the integrated seal.
In order to assist the user in the order of the luggage, there are pre-installed fastening hooks on the inside of the lid. The outside of the lid is equipped with high-strength lashings in a proven manner.
As standard, the ZEGA Evo has a strap handle integrated into the lid trough.
The ZEGA Evo is unmistakable thanks to the new embossing on the outside, which with the »Broken Line" takes up a central element of the Touratech brand identity, as well as the newly designed corner reinforcements made of impact-resistant plastic.
The ZEGA Evo can be ordered in sizes 31 / 38 / 45 liters. The surfaces are either silver or black anodized.
