National racing at every level
Yamaha lives racing. With the bLU cRU program, young talents are promoted and accompanied on their way to the top. Yamaha has the right vehicle for every stage of their career, enabling them to offer young talents a reliable, long-term partnership. Yamaha also offers suitable platforms for hobby racers: from the Yamaha Track Days and the Yamaha Official Riding Schools to professionally organized amateur racing series. This is where the R7 Cup will be added in the new season.
Yamaha R7 Cup
Shortly after the introduction of the new R7, Yamaha Europe announced the Europe-wide introduction of the R7 Cup as a new racing series for hobby riders.
The Yamaha R7 Cup is aimed primarily at trackday riders who now want to take the step to become a racer. That's why Yamaha Motor Germany has put together an attractive complete package for the participants. The price of 14,500 euros includes not only the race-ready motorcycle built with GYPR parts, but also the entry fee, a racing leather suit, a Shark RACE-R PRO helmet, a Yamaha pavilion and a Yamaha clothing package. A total of six race weekends with two rounds each are on the agenda. The R7 Cup kicks off at the Yamaha Track Days in Oschersleben, after which it will be integrated into the German Twin Trophy with a separate classification.
For the best riders, there is another highlight in addition to the fight for the championship: three riders from each national R7 Cup are invited to the European Superfinal, an international race as part of the Superbike World Championship!
These dates are planned for the 2022 season:
07. – 08.05.2022 – Oschersleben / Yamaha Track Days
26. – 29.05.2022 – Oschersleben
10. – 12.06.2022 – Schleizer Dreieck

Yamaha R3 bLU cRU Cup
In addition to the new R7 Cup, the Yamaha R3 bLU cRU Cup, which made its successful debut last year, will also continue. In the 2022 season, the Junior Cup, whose clearly defined goal is to promote young talent, will again take place as part of the International German Championship (IDM).
