With their pure MAX DNA, the TMAX and XMAX models have changed the market since their introduction and set new standards in terms of performance and style on Europe's roads. These models have made a name for themselves as the ultimate sports scooter and deliver the absolute MAX-imum.
In 2021, the TMAX and XMAX series will be available in new color options. XMAX 300, XMAX 125 and both XMAX Tech MAX options will be fully EU5 compliant.

XMAX 300: Maximum performance with light agility
The XMAX 300 is powered by a 292cc Blue Core single-cylinder engine and combines maximum scooter performance with light agility. This makes it the ideal choice for quick and easy commuting to work and leisure trips.
For 2021, this highly specialised sport scooter will be equipped with a fully EU5-compliant engine that will reduce fuel consumption by around 6%. In 2021, both The XMAX 300 and XMAX 300 Tech MAX are available in new colors. The Tech MAX version also shines with new graphics and exclusive details that underline premium status.

Availability
Delivery of the XMAX 300 to the European Yamaha partners will start in January 2021. The XMAX 300 Tech MAX from February 2021.

XMAX 125: Dynamic MAX style with higher performance and improved fuel efficiency
With its unmistakable MAX DNA and high-quality equipment, the XMAX 125 has become the top seller in its class. For 2021, the sport scooter is equipped with a newly developed 124 cc engine, which offers stronger performance with optimized fuel consumption and is fully EU5 compliant. The new engine benefits from Yamaha's variable valve control (VVA) and features a special camshaft for better acceleration. Another important innovation is the new switch-off start-stop system.
For better handling and increased stability, the dimensions of the chassis have been revised. The 2021 model has a longer wheelbase of 1570 mm and a greater ground clearance of 140 mm. In addition, the wet weight of the XMAX 125 has been reduced by 9 kg to 166 kg. The travel of the rear suspension has been increased by 15 mm to 90 mm.
Both the XMAX 125 and XMAX 125 Tech MAX models are available in new colors.
