Garmin launches a motorcycle navi that makes the hearts of motorcycle adventurers beat faster with the z'mo XT. In addition to the well-known European road navigation maps, it has pre-installed topographic maps for off-road navigation for the first time. The robust, weatherproof case withstands the toughest conditions and the bumpiest slopes, while the ultra-bright 5.5-inch HD touch display is easy to read and easy to use with gloves even in direct sunlight.

Various route functions provide variety on the route. With the Adventurous Routing option, for example, the most exciting and curvy routes as well as the most scenic routes can be selected. All bikers who are looking for more than turn-by-turn navigation with audio announcements, also explore places off paved roads thanks to pre-installed topographic maps. In addition, BirdsEye satellite images are available for free download. With just one touch of a button, drivers can switch between the three map modes to get the best possible view of the current route.

Creating and sharing routes made easy

Garmin Explore lets you sync and organize routes, tracks, and waypoints on your z'mo XT, smartphone, and computer. TripAdvisor, Foursquare, iOverlander and Motorrad Points of Interest add millions of popular locations along the route to the ride experience. Saving or sharing routes is a breeze with the new Track Recorder feature. GPX files can also be easily shared with others via Bluetooth, memory card and Garmin Drive app. In addition, the Drive app gives the driver access to smart notifications, traffic information or weather data.

Helpful features for an ideal driving experience

A number of driving assistance and safety features provide a boost in safety, including a Bluetooth hands-free function, warnings about sharp curves, level crossings or speed limits, as well as automatic accident detection, which notifies stored emergency contacts and informs about the current location. In addition, the Navi can be paired with compatible Garmin inReach devices for 2-way communication, location sharing, and SOS functionality. Motorcyclists can also stream and control music on their smartphone via the Navigation display while driving, or play MP3 files directly from the internal memory. Thanks to the integrated Wi-Fi, map and software updates are particularly easy to perform. The z'mo XT can be mounted in both portrait and landscape format and lasts up to 6 hours with a display brightness of 70% with an extended battery life (up to 3.5 hours at 100% display brightness).
