The partnership between Ducati and Lamborghini has always resulted in extraordinary projects. Thanks to the shared racing DNA of the two manufacturers, the products of these two undisputed symbols of Italian industry make the pulse of motorcycle enthusiasts and collectors around the world beat faster.
This collaboration, which can look back on a very successful history, is now opening a new, exciting chapter. On 9 April, the latest milestone in this collaboration will be unveiled at Milan Design Week.
The collaborations between Ducati and Lamborghini to date have shown how the pursuit of shared values - such as the authenticity of the "Made in Italy" label, the vocation for sporting brilliance and groundbreaking design - can give rise to truly original projects.
The first example was the Ducati Diavel 1260 Lamborghini, which was inspired by the Lamborghini Sián FKP 37 and was presented on November 25, 2020 in a limited edition of 630 units. A motorcycle that reinterpreted the stylistic features of one of the brand's most iconic vehicles.
The Lamborghini version was based on the Ducati Diavel 1260, which has been modified in its most distinctive elements. The preference for high-quality, lightweight materials, a typical feature of the super sports cars manufactured in Sant'Agata Bolognese, is also shared by Ducati. This is evident in the extensive use of carbon for various motorcycle components to further increase performance. The design of the Diavel 1260 Lamborghini was born from the creative synergy between the Ducati Centro Stile and the Lamborghini Centro Stile, combining the stylistic authenticity of both brands.
The success of this first project laid a solid foundation for an equally exciting second chapter: the
Ducati Streetfighter V4 Lamborghini, inspired by the uncompromising performance and extreme engineering of the Lamborghini Huracán STO.
This model, presented in September 2022 at the Grand Prix of San Marino and the Riviera di Rimini, strengthened the link between the two brands by transferring the style and performance of a true Lamborghini supercar to a motorcycle. This limited and numbered edition was also a remarkable success: 630 units and an additional 63 exclusive examples for Lamborghini customers are a clear commitment to the authenticity and uniqueness of the project.
Now the excitement is growing for
the third chapter of this amazing partnership. Ducati and Lamborghini are ready to celebrate their union based on extreme performance, cutting-edge technology and a shared DNA
during the prestigious Milan Design Week on April 9.
