The reason for the decision to participate is the positive course of international and national vaccination programs and the ongoing relaxation of COVID-19 restrictions in Europe, especially Italy. It is assumed that by the end of November it will be possible to attend major trade fair events again. In order to ensure a pleasant and safe visit to the fair, hygiene protection measures will continue to apply in coordination with EICMA. In this context, Yamaha wants to offer its visitors more space and therefore presents itself at a larger booth compared to 2019.
Eric de Seynes, President and CEO of Yamaha Motor Europe N.V.,confirms the decision:"We did not make the decision to participate in EICMA easy. The reasons for this are obvious. Considering the COVID-19 trends and following the assurance of the EICMA organisers that we can offer all visitors a safe stay with a full range of experiences, we believe it is the right decision to return to such an event. EICMA is undoubtedly the trade fair with the greatest international reach and is therefore of outstanding importance for our industry. We see EICMA 2021 as a very special event and meaningful meeting place. This shows how popular new products in the motorcycle industry are with media representatives and customers. Through this exchange, the contact remains alive and serves as a point of origin for new ideas for future trends. There is still a long way to go before we have reached circumstances that most of us would call normal. In this way, this year's trade fair is the first opportunity for motorcycle enthusiasts to get in touch again in real life instead of just virtually."
We hope to see you at the Yamaha booth in November!
