Experience has shown that endurists who have travelled rely on a comfortable and active seat in every respect and use the rest of the large travel enduro to accommodate luggage. Their motorcycles, mostly BMWs, are inspired by the daring style of the legendary Paris-Dakar racers. It is noticeable that, if they are consistent, they do not use the passenger seat. Not ostensibly to save weight, but rather to create even more space for the necessary luggage. This was always a good way to implement, especially with a GS, as Wunderlich always had a solo seat in the program. Not infrequently, however, such GS were equipped with crude luggage racks.

This allowed luggage to be placed close to the overall centre of gravity, closer to the driver and lower than with a conventional rack. Wunderlich has put together the right package called »LONELY RIDER" for the friends of this style as part of the EDITION 35: It consists of the proven, classic, super comfortable, long-distance ACTIVE COMFORT driver's seat, suitable for all water-cooled GS from 2013 onwards, i.e. for all R 1200 GS LC and R 1250 GS as well as the respective adventure variants. With it it can also be driven excellently while standing. In addition, the robust and high-quality luggage holder, which, as the BMW specialists from County guarantee, is made of 4 mm aluminium, is certainly not undersized. It makes room for the next adventure. It offers numerous possibilities for scurrying. Typical wonder: The luggage holder can be easily and without tools fit in the standard frame holder of the passenger seat. The locking is also analogous to the passenger seat. This means that the change between the baggage pick-up and the passenger seat is done ruckzuck. And vice versa, of course!
