Thus, the KTM 1290 SUPER DUKE GT convinces on long distances, as well as in sporty driving like no other sports tourer on the market.

Thanks to its Euro 5-compliant V2 engine with 1,301 cm3 displacement, 175 hp and 141 Nm of torque, which is already installed in the KTM 1290 SUPER DUKE R, no one in its class is so quick to fool the bike when it comes to chasing full throttle towards the horizon. This long-distance BEAST lives up to its name not only in terms of performance.

The semi-active chassis of the KTM 1290 SUPER DUKE GT wp APEX works with a special approach. The preload of the strut has been specially adjusted to a long-distance tourer, and can be handled very well. This allows the suspension to be adjusted to four real driving situations: DRIVER, DRIVER WITH PILLION, DRIVER WITH LUGGAGE or DRIVER, PILLION AND LUGGAGE. In addition, it also has an anti-dive function as standard.

A new 7-inch TFT display allows the driving behavior to be adjusted quickly and easily while driving. By means of a new layout, information provision and style are optimally combined. New, robust switches in a high-quality design complete the package and at the same time enable direct interaction between the driver and the instrument cluster.

The wheels of the KTM 1290 SUPER DUKE GT 2022 have also been taken over from the latest version of the KTM 1290 SUPER DUKE R. They reduce the unsprung masses by 1 kg compared to the old models and not only benefit handling, but also look more aggressive. These newly developed wheels are equipped with the Continental ContiSportAttack 4 tires. The ContiSportAttack 4 offers a sportier and overall more stable riding experience – a sporty tyre that perfectly matches the versatility of the KTM 1290 SUPER DUKE GT.

The KTM 1290 SUPER DUKE GT is equipped for the first time with the brand new Turn-by-Turn PLUS navigation system, which enhances the touring experience. TBT+ will be available via KTM Connect. Thanks to this system, current route information is transmitted directly to the new 7-inch TFT display, so you can navigate even better. The TBT+ navigation system will be used for the first time on the KTM 1290 SUPER DUKE GT. Further models are to follow in the near future.

Via SYGIC®, the TBT+ can also be used in offline mode. In this way, trips and adventures can be better planned even to the most remote places, as the NAVIGATION FUNCTION reliably guides the driver to his destination. In addition, the system has a simplified search function as well as extensive points of interest such as petrol stations, restaurants and rest stops. This allows the driver to select his favourite destinations directly on the TFT display. The above functions can all be selected directly on the new 7-inch TFT display. Accordingly, the mobile phone is no longer needed and quick changes can be controlled more easily and conveniently while driving. In addition, the new system can also be used to easily skip waypoints without the system prompting the driver to turn back. Instead, the system recalculates the route and finds the best way to get the bike back on track. In addition, it automatically saves the last 10 destinations the driver has searched for and offers them directly on the instrument cluster.
