Sales more than doubled compared to the previous year !

Anyone who had predicted in the spring of 2020 that the motorcycle market would grow by a whopping 12 percent would have been ridiculed only tiredly in the face of the Corona crisis. But that's exactly what happened! In November 2020 e.B. 5,850 motorcycles (all over 125 cc without scooter) were approved. This is exactly 116.75 percent compared to the previous year (November 2019: 2,699 units). Madness!

BMW leads the manufacturers with a market share of 20.7 percent. This is still an impressive figure, but BMW still had an MA of just under 29 percent in March 2020. If someone loses market share, another has to gain market share. This year, these are mainly KTM (from 10.71% to 12.27%), Honda (from 10.8% to 11.98%) as well as various smaller manufacturers such as .B. Royal Enfield and Indian.

Nothing new among the top sellers

Little has changed for the best-selling bikes. The R 1250 GS is all over and then comes the eternal bestsellers Z900, MT-07 and Z650. KTM places three machines in the top 10 and the Yamaha Ténéré 700, introduced in 2020, also sells like sliced bread.
