The announcement of the new Ninja ZX-4R and Ninja ZX-4RR has caused a wave of enthusiasm worldwide. In Germany, only the sportier Ninja ZX-4RR is offered. Kawasaki's contractors are already seeing strong demand for this very special motorcycle.
No other manufacturer currently has a four-cylinder super sports car with a displacement of 400 cubic centimeters in its range. Kawasaki is thus reviving old times. As early as 1991, the ZXR400, the ancestor of the Ninja ZX-4RR, came onto the market in Germany. A legendary motorcycle that can still be found on the racetracks today. The new Ninja ZX-4RR now sets new standards with 77 hp at 14,500 rpm instead of 65 hp at 13,000 rpm.
Visually, the new Ninja in the look of the Kawasaki Racing Team is reminiscent of its big sister Ninja ZX-10R. On the chassis side, the Ninja ZX-4RR also borrows from Jonathan Rea's multiple winning motorcycle. As befits a modern super sports car, traction control, power modes and a quickshifter are on board. The LCD colour display contains all relevant values and setting options, including the display of lap times.
The Ninja family gets a new and full-fledged member with the Ninja ZX-4RR. The sharply calculated price makes entry into the Supersport class affordable for many – in keeping with the slogan: "Awaken Your Supersport". More information and pictures can be found on kawasaki-presse.de
