These bikes are no longer sold in Europe
Motorradtest.de bids farewell to great motorcycles
The team of Motorradtest.de wishes all motorcyclists a happy start to the new year. With the end of 2020, unfortunately, we have to say goodbye to some great motorcycles due to the Euro 5 changeover. Which ones are, we show you in a video.
The changeover to Euro 5 means a lot of effort and money for the manufacturers. Therefore, not all engines are homologated on Euro 5. The requirements of Euro 5 are tough: emissions of nitrogen oxides, hydrocarbons and carbon monoxide must be reduced by about a third. This requirement applies to all two-wheelers that travel faster than 45 km/h. It is quite understandable that the manufacturers tighten their model ranges and, above all, no longer produce motorcycles that were not among the best performers anyway.
The following motorcycles will be discontinued in 2021 and the Euro 5 conversion will no longer be produced
