When things get really tough, they are at their best
With the two new sports enduros TF 450-E and TF 250-E for 2026, TRIUMPH presents two motorcycles with winning genes in their DNA. They were developed in close collaboration with five-time World Champion Iván Cervantes and four-time Enduro World Champion Paul Edmondson – two consummate professionals who know exactly what is important in competitions and on trails, on technically demanding passages as well as on fast sections of the track. For this reason, the 450cm3 and 250cm3 engines, developed with the best know-how and precision, have been combined by TRIUMPH engineers with a very light aluminium chassis based on a new central tube frame with two beams, which scores with agile handling in slow passages and high high-speed stability.
Both new models are equipped with components from premium manufacturers and have state-of-the-art off-road technology on board. They also come with an ergonomic package for the rider and a racing-inspired style. The sleek bodywork, striking details in the colour "TRIUMPH Performance Yellow" and integrated LED lighting give the bikes an aggressive, unmistakable look.
These two new models are also – as usual from TRIUMPH – of the highest quality and particularly reliable. This is supported by the best support worldwide with an international network of specialized dealers and a state-of-the-art supply system that enables 24/7 parts ordering .
Steve Sargent, Chief Product Officer at TRIUMPH Motorcycles: "These two new models mark the start of enduro competitions for us. The two bikes feature the most advanced developments in enduro performance and technology. The chassis and engine platform of the Enduro models are brand new and will set new standards in performance, handling, comfort and ease of use for 2026. This means that they meet the demands of both professionals and amateur riders. Working with Paul Edmondson's team, these bikes were tested in real-world conditions. This has allowed us to improve the agility and performance of these models, ensuring that they do an excellent job – whether they are ridden by an enduro newcomer or a competitive pro. This level of all-round usability and peak performance has never been seen before in this area."
Paul Edmondson has played an important role in the development and testing of the new enduro bikes. He will also lead the new TRIUMPH Factory Racing Enduro Team, which will compete in the EnduroGP Championship from April. "Triumph's enduro bikes are made for demanding off-road tasks and feature precise handling, powerful engines and a race-proven design. Even rough trails, steep climbs and all the imponderables of the topography are no problem for them," says Edmondson. "Whether it's technically demanding enduro passages or undeveloped wilderness, these bikes offer exceptional performance, control and durability, allowing riders to go above and beyond. We've all worked hard to make these new models as nimble, fast and light as possible, without compromising on functionality or ease of use."
Tailor-made for outstanding enduro performance
The drivetrains of the two new 250cm3 and 450cm3 enduro models have been developed by TRIUMPH to win races.
The engine of the TF 450-E is a liquid-cooled 450 cm3-single cylinder with impressive power and linear torque delivery. This ensures smooth, highly controllable acceleration in a wide range of conditions – from technically demanding climbs to high-speed straights.
This means that the TF 450-E is specially designed for exceptional performance in high-speed enduro races. It's ideal for experienced riders who need power, speed and versatility on open trails and hilly terrain. With more torque in the low and mid-range, challenging climbs, sand dunes and sections with few gear changes are no problem for the TF 450-E. Its evenly controllable power output and highly controllable engine character ensure that riders can virtually "feel" the traction of the rear wheel and the direct power transmission to the ground.
The all-new 250 cm3-enduro engine from TRIUMPH is the most powerful in its class , delivering responsive, easy-to-control power with a purposeful character. It is perfect for demanding sections and the challenges of narrow enduro tracks. This makes it ideal for those riders who are looking for maximum fun and easy-to-handle performance.
With an output of 42.3 hp, a torque of 27.8 Nm, a wide power curve with plenty of power at the lower end, the TF 250-E is outstanding on slow, technically demanding sections and offers high performance throughout up to a maximum speed of 12,800 rpm.
Both powertrains have been designed with a higher flywheel mass than the motocross engine , so they offer a more stable, controllable power delivery in races in various, unpredictable conditions. This is complemented by a six-speed gearbox with an Exedy racing clutch that allows for smooth, clutch-free upshifts, allowing the rider to maintain momentum in tight, driving-demanding sections.
Advanced fuel injection and ignition engine management systems ensure efficient power control, ensuring spontaneous throttle response and reliable performance even during demanding rides. A bespoke 44mm diameter Dellorto throttle system provides an air bypass facility for cold starts and manually adjustable idle speed.
Noble titanium valves from Del West and a forged aluminum piston from König ensure consistent performance during prolonged operation at high speed and significantly reduce maintenance.
On the TF 450-E, the piston pin and rocker arms are additionally finished with Diamond Like Carbon (DLC) coatings that improve durability and reduce friction. Especially on long, demanding journeys, uniform engine cooling and reliable power delivery are important. A high-performance cooler with an additional fan is used here. In addition, both models rely on a two-stage air filter from Twin-Air, which can be changed without tools.
Pricing and Availability
The TF 250-E is available in Germany for 10,995 euros, the TF 450-E costs 11,595 euros.
Orders can now be placed at the TRIUMPH Motocross and Enduro Centres. The motorcycles will be delivered from April 2025.
