The international motorcycle fair will not take place in 2022 – New date from 27 to 29 January 2023 – Motorbike world "Hock & Rock" planned as a meeting place for the scene in summer
Back into the garage rolls the upcoming motorcycle world Lake Constance. The busy start of the season for the bike community in the border triangle must also pause in 2022. "What we feared at the turn of the year is unfortunately now coming true: Due to the trade fair ban of the current corona regulation of the state of Baden-Württemberg, the international motorcycle fair cannot take place," explains Messe München CEO Klaus Wellmann. "We very much regret this, as we have already been able to successfully hold 14 trade fairs since last July. However, current developments and the political decisions based on them leave no other choice."
Yesterday, January 11, the state government decided to freeze the Alert Level II measures until February 1, 2022, which will then remain in place regardless of the utilization of intensive care beds and the incidence of hospitalization. These prohibit the organization of trade fairs in Baden-Württemberg.
Nevertheless, the bike scene in southern Germany, Austria and Switzerland will not remain completely without a meeting place this year. With the motorcycle world "Hock & Rock" on Saturday, June 4, 2022, the organizers are planning a meeting place with a concert atmosphere for the bike community at the Friedrichshafen exhibition center in summer.
The 27th edition of Motorradwelt Bodensee is scheduled from Friday, 27 to Sunday, 29 January 2023.
