Motorcycle sales January 2022- That's a good start!

With an increase of 57.65 percent in January 2022 compared to the previous year, new motorcycle registrations can be said to have got off to a successful start. Of course, the figures are still not very meaningful, but at least 3,503 motorcycles (everything except 125cc and scooters) were sold. In January 2021, there were still 2,222 pieces.

If you take all two-wheelers including 125cc and scooters, the balance is even better: Then there are a whopping 87.2 percent more two-wheelers sold compared to 2021. In terms of market share, a lot has changed compared to 2021 as a whole : Yamaha occupies 4th place and Kawasaki is (still) in 6th place.Triumph and Husqvarna are also well in the race at the start of the year. But this can and will probably "jerk" everything - as I said, the sales figures are still not very meaningful. Among the top 50 best-selling machines, a new machine stands out: the Husqvarna Norden 901 is in 19th place. At the top is still the GS 1250 from BMW.
