BMW with good figures in February 2025

The motorcycle market is not yet really gaining momentum in February. Only 6,333 motorcycles were newly registered, compared to 11,789 in February 2024. This is probably still due to the EURO5+ changeover, which led to thousands of bikes being registered at the end of 2024, which now no longer appear in the 2025 statistics.

BMW Motorrad seems to be coping particularly well with the Euro5+ changeover. In any case, there are 5 machines from Bavaria among the top 6! BMW's market share is accordingly very high at over 37 percent. Triumph is also doing very well at the beginning of the year: In terms of market share, the British come in a good third place. However, these figures should still be taken with a grain of salt. As every year, motorcycle sales don't really start to make sense until March.

In terms of best-selling models, BMW and Honda share almost the entire top 10. If you miss the Kawa Z900 in the list: Don't worry, it will appear again in March, after all, there is a new model that has probably deterred many potential Z900 buyers from buying the "old model".
