KTM shows the new 1290 Super Adventure S 2021
New KTM travel enduro with technical innovations
TODAY KTM presented the third generation of the travel enduro "KTM 1290 Super Adventure S 2021". Especially technical updates are new. The 2021 1290 Super Adventure gets adaptive speed control and a new TFT color display.
KTM has also renovated the control buttons. However, we already know this from the 1290 Super Duke. There are now, for example.B two separate + buttons for multi-level traction control. KTM has also added to the semi-active chassis of the new 1290 Super Adventure S: The WP APEX irons the KTM 1290 SUPER ADVENTURE S itself difficult paths smoothly and makes adjustments during operation.
The new model still has the LC8 V2 with 160 hp and 138 Nm of torque. The 6th gear is now designed as an overdrive and ensures lower speeds on the motorway. Also new is the beautifully advised exhaust system, which is now of course homologated according to Euro-5. Instead of a cooler, the 2021 Super Adventure now comes with two coolers. KTM has even redesigned the aluminium side stand. The MITAS Terra Force-R is now used as factory tyres.
