KTM unveils Academy of Speed racetrack series

Few motorcyclists get to experience the full power of a sportbike on a state-of-the-art race track. But everyone else can dream about it, right? KTM is now making those riders' dreams a reality. The "KTM Academy of Speed" is a brand new initiative that will be launched in 2024 and will bring passion, service and emotion to motorsport enthusiasts in orange on the racetrack.

As part of three events in June, July and September 2024 on three world-class race tracks, the "KTM Academy of Speed" invites both experienced and newly acquired riders to get to know the brand and the racetrack up close and experience high speeds, top support and plenty of adrenaline at a premium level.

72 places per day at the Salzburgring and the Red Bull Ring (both in Austria), as well as at the Automotodróm Slovakia Ring (Slovakia) will be divided into three groups: beginners, ambitious amateurs and professionals. Help and coaching from MotoGP stars, as well as former Grand Prix racer and MotoGP™™ Team Manager Mike Leitner, will be offered both on and off the track. Additional instructors and KTM ambassadors will be available for each level.

Pro riders (anyone with a lot of track experience who wants to continue honing their lap times) can look forward to a full two-day program with comprehensive technical support, pitboard updates and a box with seating and equipment area. The KTM Academy of Speed aims to provide first-class service and unforgettable moments – both on and off the track.

The "KTM Academy of Speed" is the brainchild of former Grand Prix riders and the result of KTM's own passion for asphalt. In 2023, Red Bull KTM Factory Racing took two MotoGP™ Sprint wins and nine podiums. In the end, driver Brad Binder finished 4th in the championship and 2nd in the constructors' standings. KTM knows how to build motorcycles. The Grand Prix winning and competitive capability of the KTM RC16 and KTM RC4 in Moto3™ has led to numerous wins, podiums and championships over the past 11 years.

The 2024 "KTM Academy of Speed" will be highly coveted. The following dates have been confirmed:

• Salzburgring, Austria: June 20-21, 2024
• Red Bull Ring, Austria: July 17-18, 2024
• Slovakia Ring, Slovakia: 4-5 September 2024

The initiative offers an exclusive program, but welcomes riders of all levels. The "KTM Academy of Speed" was created for motorcycling enthusiasts, KTM owners and fans of the brand – and not least for riders who want to test their riding skills but also their limits.
