It's still a while to go until the BMW Motorrad International GS Trophy 2020 in New Zealand but preparations are already in full swing. For example, there are already the following important messages to report:

1. After three editions with the BMW R 1200 GS, the choice for 2020 was the new BMW F 850 GS as a competitive motorcycle.
2. The seventh edition of the Int. GS Trophy will take place from 9 to 16 February 2020.
3. For the first time, the route is different from the previous events in only one direction. It will include both parts of New Zealand, the North and South Islands, with their very different environments and terrain shapes.
4. The teams Netherlands and Argentina were added to the list of participants.
