- The smart navigation fuse for the BMW R 1250 RT and the R 1200 RT LC with central lock
The navigation devices 4, 5 and 6 from BMW can be locked very comfortably with one click for driving in the cockpit. They can be removed from the holder just as conveniently at the push of a button. Unfortunately also by unauthorized persons. If you leave your RT out of sight while refuelling, you risk the brazen theft of your sat nav. Unfortunately, the comfortable bracket also carries the greatest risk. Even at the traffic lights, Navis were already stolen. Even before you have parked your motorcycle on the side stand, the crook is over all the mountains.
Photos: Wounded The Navigation fuse for the drivers of the BMW R 1250 RT and the R 1200 RT LC reliably puts a dent in the brazen hustle and bustle of the bandits and reliably prevents the theft of the sat nav. It is simply coupled with the original BMW central lock, which also includes the closure of the storage compartments, the suitcase and the top case. If the central locking system is activated when the motorcycle is parked or while driving, the actuator of the Navi safety system pushes a lock. This locks the mechanical actuation button of the ejector and prevents any unauthorized person from accessing the navigation system.
The actuator of the Navigation Fuse is mounted invisibly with a custom-fit support made of resistant stainless steel under the cladding of the navigation unit. The connection for control and power supply is made - quite simply - via the original connectors. Salopp is called Plug and Play.
Wunderlich offers the smart Navi backup system for 159.90 €.
