Right, it is first of all an integral part of the motorcycle test logo, so that everyone knows immediately that our offer is aimed at motorcyclists. It is the same in road traffic: according to the Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure, this so-called additional sign indicates when the main sign is valid for specified groups of persons or vehicles.
Now there is this new road sign, which is intended to improve the protection of bicyclists.
In the hitherto common overtaking ban sign, single-lane vehicles could still be overhauled while maintaining the safety distance. The new road sign now prohibits multi-lane vehicles from overtaking single-lane vehicles. Anyone who violates this must expect a fine of 150 euros.
