Fast forward to the beginnings of the traditional British brand
Classic lettering for modern classics: TRIUMPH Motorcycles presents the new special series of the Icon Editions as an option for the 2025 model year of the Modern Classics bikes. Available on six different motorcycles, these limited versions share a common feature of TRIUMPH's iconic Heritage logo from 1907.
TRIUMPH Motorcycles is launching a new design variant of its Modern Classics motorcycle range for the 2025 model year. For the new Icon Editions, the traditional brand is reviving the iconic TRIUMPH logo from 1907 in gold lettering. The logo has not been seen on an official TRIUMPH tank for more than 100 years. Now it adorns only the six bikes in the Modern Classics collection, which combine decades of tradition with timeless, modern style and contemporary performance. With their high-quality details and unmistakable character, the new custom bike-inspired TRIUMPH models pay homage to the brand's rich history.
You can't get more heritage than this: the new Icon Editions feature the TRIUMPH tank logo from 1907
All six models come in a stylish color combination of Sapphire Black and Aluminum Silver, which perfectly underlines the authentic design. Each bike is immaculately crafted: trim lines drawn by trained hands and the gold lettering logo from the "Edwardian" style era round off the noble overall picture. From the casual elegance of the Bonneville T120 to the rugged look of the Scrambler 900, 1200 X and 1200 XE to the custom vibe of the Bobber and Speedmaster, the new design of the special range captures the essence of the originals, while the distinctive black and silver look underlines the individual character of these bikes.
Paul Stroud, Chief Commercial Officer of TRIUMPH Motorcycles, says: "The TRIUMPH Modern Classics have made a lasting name for themselves thanks to their unique style, high quality, fine workmanship and modern performance. This authenticity, coupled with the heritage and passion embodied by the 1907 logo, resonates with both younger and older drivers. With eye-catching new paint finishes, bespoke motifs and individual logos, the Icon Editions perfectly combine tradition, style and contemporary performance. This makes it perfect for riders who appreciate the classic style but value modern performance."

THE TRIUMPH HERITAGE LOGO: AN ICON IN THE COMPANY'S HISTORY
The TRIUMPH Heritage logo, the trademark (also known as the "icon") of TRIUMPH Motorcycles, is considered iconic by many riders around the world for a reason. The original form of the protected trademark was created in 1902 as a shield; a heraldic coat of arms containing the company name TRIUMPH Cycle Co. Ltd. and the place of manufacture Coventry. This emblem was replaced in 1907 by a pure lettering logo with the word mark TRIUMPH. Although it was only used "officially" for seven years, this version of the TRIUMPH logo has stood the test of time. Nowadays, it is not only used on countless individual custom bike designs and collector's items, but often also serves as a tattoo template for die-hard fans of the brand.
In 1915, the word "Motors" appeared in the font logo for the first time. But already in the 1920s, TRIUMPH returned to the coloured coat of arms. A brief design detour in 1932 resulted in an oval globe logo, but this was superseded in 1934 by a return to the wordmark with an updated font and capital letters. This logo was updated again in 1936 with a bolder font and a border ("keyline") and was retained for more than 50 years. In 1990, a blue version was introduced as a careful evolution of the brand, and it was updated again in 2005, with the keyline removed. In 2013, the modern logo appeared for the first time – a contemporary black design of the wordmark, plus the characteristic triangle as a new design element.
For the 2025 model year, the unmistakable lettering from 1907 is now being revived to shape the look of the six bikes exclusively in the Icon Editions.
MODERN CLASSICS ICON EDITION: A JOURNEY OF DISCOVERY THROUGH THE TRIUMPH LEGACY
Crafted with precision and attention to detail, the Icon Editions combine unique design with premium quality and engineering. Each individual edition features an individual color combination of Sapphire Black and Aluminum Silver with intricately crafted side covers that match the tank design and create a striking contrast. This makes each model stand out from the crowd.
Every elegant curve and detail that gives all Modern Classics models their own unique silhouette is highlighted by hand-drawn trim lines. In gold or black, these trace the colour dividing lines of the paintwork. The TRIUMPH logo in gold and the exclusive Icon Editions graphics on the tanks and side panels give each bike an individual, distinctive flair.

Hand-drawn decorative lines underline its unmistakable appearance.
The Scrambler 900 is an outstanding choice for urban and rural driving pleasure. No matter what the road looks like, the Scrambler 900 meets it with superior performance and handling. The high-torque 900cc Bonneville engine combined with the ride-by-wire throttle grip provides excellent maneuverability and control. The black 19-inch spoked wheels at the front and the 17-inch spoked wheels at the rear, as well as the low seat height of 790 mm, contribute to the safe driving experience. NEW SCRAMBLER 1200 X ICON EDITION
The Scrambler 1200 X Icon Edition is ready for any adventure. This is highlighted by the contrasting Aluminum Silver and Sapphire Black paint finish on the tank of the Scrambler 1200 X Icon Edition. The eye-catching gold 1907 TRIUMPH lettering logo and exclusive icon logo give it a distinctive touch.
In addition to the powerful 1200cc Bonneville engine with high torque, the off-road 21-inch front wheel and the premium quality and finish of TRIUMPH, the Scrambler 1200 X is also very easy to access, with a seat height of 820 mm, which can be reduced to 795 mm with the optional low seat.
NEW SCRAMBLER 1200 XE ICON EDITION
Imposing and elegant, the powerful and athletic shape of the Scrambler 1200 XE is underlined in the Icon Edition by the Phantom Black colour that characterises the sides of the tank. Meanwhile, the gold-anodized fork tubes and hand-painted gold trim lines pick up the gold of the 1907 logo on the tank.
The Scrambler 1200 XE is also equipped for demanding off-road use. Its powerful and torquey 1200cc Bonneville engine with specific scrambler tuning is complemented by a highly modulated, responsive ride-by-wire throttle, cornering ABS and cornering traction control, high-quality Marzocchi™ suspension elements, Brembo Stylema® calipers and Metzeler™ Tourance® tubeless enduro tires.
NEW BONNEVILLE BOBBER ICON EDITION
With its low, gathered line and minimalist design language, the Bonneville Bobber Icon Edition, which is mainly in black, has its own appeal. Silver hand-painted accents and the gold Heritage lettering logo on the tank draw the eye to the massive 16-inch front wheel and the massive 47 mm front fork. In this way, the Bobber creates a look that guarantees a sensation and admiring glances at all times.
The Bonneville Bobber also delivers a whopping torque of 106 Nm at 4,000 rpm, while the torque-assisted clutch ensures the best dosage. This makes the Bobber an easily accessible and very comfortable motorcycle in everyday life.
NEW BONNEVILLE SPEEDMASTER ICON EDITION
Casual style, a confidently powerful 1200cc twin, comfortable cruiser riding experience: The Bonneville Speedmaster Icon Edition exudes British custom charm par excellence. On the tank and on the mudguards, it shines in silver. A sapphire black stripe is emblazoned in the centre of the tank, and it is adorned with the golden TRIUMPH lettering and exclusive icon motifs. Hand-drawn decorative stripes give it that certain something. If both comfort and style are important to you on extended tours, opt for the Bonneville Speedmaster Icon Edition.
The Speedmaster's 1200cc twin engine guarantees powerful torque and the best handling. In return, TRIUMPH treats this bike to a high torque and a tuning designed for the best torque over the entire rev range. The high-quality 47 mm Showa cartridge fork combined with the concealed, preload-adjustable monoshock shock shock at the rear gives the rider excellent maneuverability, comfort and control – with or without a passenger.
