As a true adventure bike, the Suzuki V-Strom 800DE feels just as at home on extended country road tours as it does in tough terrain and gravel stages. And the handy machine also cuts an excellent figure in the city. In the 2025 model year, the V-Strom 800DE is presented in three new colour variants and with Euro 5+ homologation.
Characterful two-cylinder engine with high running refinement
The in-line twin-cylinder engine of the Suzuki V-Strom 800DE offers good rideability and a rich acceleration at low revs - combined with refreshing revving pleasure right up to the red zone. The 270-degree firing sequence gives the compact engine a powerful characteristic, while the patented Suzuki Cross-Balancer with two balancer shafts rotating at a 90-degree angle ensures excellent running smoothness. The Suzuki Clutch Assist System (SCAS) impresses with low operating forces for the clutch as well as an anti-hopping function that supports riders during sporty braking.

Modern assistance systems for safety and driving pleasure
One of the highlights of the electronics package is the G (Gravel) mode of the Suzuki Traction Control System (STCS), which allows controlled slip on the rear wheel. The two-stage ABS is also designed for ambitious off-road use, which has a mode especially for riding on loose surfaces. Experienced adventure riders can even deactivate the rear ABS completely.
Bidirectional Quick-Shift system, low-RPM assist and Suzuki Easy-Start system round off the modern peripherals of the characterful two-cylinder engine.

Robust chassis
The chassis of the V-Strom 800DE is made up of a torsion-resistant tubular steel frame, a lightweight aluminium swingarm, high-quality suspension elements from Showa and off-road spoked wheels in 21-/17-inch sizes. In combination with a sophisticated geometry, these components not only enable a first-class balance between agility and directional stability off-road, but also excellent handling on the road.
Functionality and comfort
Typical adventure bike, the V-Strom 800DE combines robustness in off-road use with a high level of long-distance comfort. In addition to the running refinement of the twin, the spacious seat and the three-way height-adjustable windscreen contribute to this.
State-of-the-art: The electrical equipment
A high-quality 5-inch colour TFT-LCD multifunction instrument provides all relevant information in the cockpit. The lighting and signal system in full LED design ensures the best visibility even in difficult lighting conditions.
The Suzuki V-Strom 800DE in the 2025 model year
The 2-in-1 exhaust system now has a two-stage catalytic converter that helps to comply with the current Euro 5+ emission standard. The high-mounted rear silencer underlines the off-road concept of the V-Strom 800DE.
There are three new color variants to choose from in the model year. Champion Yellow No.2 (YU1) makes the reference to Suzuki's successful off-road models. The Pearl Tech White (QU2) colour scheme is modern. The V-Strom 800DE is elegant and timeless in the Glass Sparkle Black (YVB) version.
The new V-Strom 800DE is now available from Suzuki dealers at a price of 11,900 euros (RRP ex works, plus additional costs). In addition, the adventure bike can be converted to 35 kW.
