New Scrambler bikes from Ducati

Ducati Scrambler is the main protagonist of the second episode of the Ducati World Première 2022, in which two new models were presented: the Ducati Scrambler 1100 Tribute PRO and the Ducati Scrambler Urban Motard, which will enrich the "Land of Joy" for 2022. These two new models have been introduced to enthusiasts around the world.

The Ducati Scrambler 1100 Tribute PRO pays homage to the air-cooled two-cylinder engine and celebrates its 50th anniversary at Ducati.

When creating the Ducati Scrambler 1100 Tribute PRO, Ducati Scrambler had in mind the lovers of modern classic bikes and those who have a soft spot for the history of the motorcycle. The model honors the past and the achievements of the manufacturer from Borgo Panigale. For this motorcycle, the Centro Stile Ducati was inspired by iconic Ducati elements of the 1970s, such as the special "Giallo Ocra" livery, the Ducati logo from the time designed by Giugiaro and the black spoke wheels that blend perfectly into the shades of the solemn livery. Other striking stylistic details include the round rear-view mirrors and the brown bench seat with special stitching

From a technical point of view, the motorcycle has the characteristics of the Ducati Scrambler 1100 PRO family. It features an iconic yet original design, an agile chassis and a 1,079 cc engine that delivers 85 hp at 7,250 rpm and 90.5 Nm at 4,750 rpm, and is characterized by generous torque even at low revs.

The Ducati Scrambler 1100 Tribute PRO is equipped as standard with three riding modes, each with different power modes and different levels of Ducati Traction Control (DTC). In addition, thanks to the headlight with LED daytime running lights, the motorcycle is always easy to recognize even during the day.

Another new model for 2022 is the Ducati Scrambler Urban Motard: a motorcycle created to explore the urban environment. It is a combination of style, sportiness and driving pleasure.

The name chosen for this latest version is immediately reminiscent of the urban atmosphere of the big city and is aimed at all those who live the city with energy and enthusiasm. The Centro Stile Ducati has translated that into a new livery that combines star White Silk and Ducati GP '19 Red with energetic graphics in an unprecedented way. The world of graffiti and street art in the big cities provided inspiration.

The Ducati Scrambler Urban Motard is powered by an 803cc L-twin engine with desmodromic valve timing that delivers 73 hp at 8,250 rpm and 66.2 Nm at 5,750 rpm. This makes very good driving performance possible, which never intimidate the driver, but guarantees him a high level of agility in city traffic and driving pleasure on winding routes.

The reference to the Supermoto world is evident in this version through the selection of components such as the 17-inch spoke wheels, the high front fender, the flat seat and the side number plates, which fit perfectly into the design of the Ducati Scrambler.

The Urban Motard is also equipped as standard with a headlight with LED daytime running lights, a hallmark of all Ducati Scrambler models. The rear light also relies entirely on LED technology.

The motorcycle manufacturer from Borgo Panigale has equipped all Ducati and Ducati Scrambler models with a cornering ABS that guarantees a high degree of safety even when braking in an inclined position. Ducati thus confirms how seriously it takes the active safety of its customers.

The models are also prepared for the Ducati Multimedia System (DMS), which allows a smartphone to be connected to the motorcycle via Bluetooth. The USB port under the seat is also standard equipment.

The new Ducati Scrambler Urban Motard joins the Ducati Scrambler Icon, Ducati Scrambler Icon Dark, Ducati Scrambler Nightshift and Ducati Scrambler Desert Sled models in the 800 series of the "Land of Joy". The Ducati Scrambler 1100 Tribute PRO, together with the Ducati Scrambler 1100 Dark PRO and Ducati Scrambler 1100 Sport PRO, is one of the most powerful motorcycles in the Ducati Scrambler family.

All Ducati Scrambler models are also available in a 35 kW version for A2 licence holders.

The new model "Scrambler 1100 Tribute PRO" will be available from November 2021 at Ducati dealers. The "Scrambler Urban Motard" model will be available from January 2022.
