New: Royal Enfield Shotgun 650

Based on Royal Enfield's internationally proven 650 twin platform, the Shotgun 650 is not only a tribute to custom culture, but also a new chapter in Royal Enfield's design – with an exciting vision for the future. The retro-futuristic look of the Shotgun 650 is clearly reminiscent of its predecessor, the SG650 Concept, presented at EICMA 2021. A celebration of true creativity, it provides thousands of riders around the world with a blank canvas to customize their dream machine.

In keeping with custom culture, the new Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 is a machine defined by its rider. Their completely new appearance is like a blank canvas. It does not allow itself to be forced into a conventional category, but rather adapts to the personality of the owner. Its modular design combines three very different motorcycles – single-seater, two-seater and tourer with enough space for luggage. The pillion seat can be removed with a flick of the wrist for ultimate flexibility. Whether confident and fast-paced or rather chilled and relaxed – with its upright riding position, the Shotgun 650 enables both and willingly adapts to the respective mood and preferred riding style.

"The history of Royal Enfield is a story of customisation. Our customers have been designing our motorcycles according to their own wishes for decades. We were inspired by this diverse creative culture and asked our designers to set no limits to their imagination. The resulting design looks very modern on the one hand, but also respectful of our heritage on the other – a vision of what a Royal Enfield Custom of the future could look like."

 
With its internationally award-winning 650 twin engine at its heart, the Shotgun 650 offers plenty of driving pleasure. It has also been extensively optimised in terms of ergonomics: centrally mounted footrests, a relatively low seat height of 795 mm and an intuitive handlebar position that conveys a sense of presence and control are complemented by a floating single seat that is equal parts retro and modern. The Shotgun 650's specially tuned suspension includes a 43mm diameter Showa SF-BPF (Separate Function Big Piston Fork) front fork and stereo struts with five-stage adjustable rear spring tension. Together with a wheelbase of 1465 mm and a low centre of gravity, it ensures a lot of driving pleasure without sacrificing comfort – in city traffic, on the motorway and on winding country roads. Wide tubeless tires with rim diameters of 18 inches at the front and 17 inches at the rear, combined with disc brakes measuring 320 mm and 300 mm respectively, keep the machine stable and provide ample control at any speed.

The Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 combines retro-futuristic design with modern features. An LED headlight in a gorgeous neo-modern custom housing stays true to the machine's Fusion aesthetic while providing improved visibility and visibility. The motorcycle has a digital-analogue instrument cluster with our TBT navigation, which provides all the necessary information while riding. There is also a USB port so that the smartphone can be charged while driving.

For those who want to dedicate themselves entirely to the spirit of custom culture, there is a wide range of 31 original accessories at your disposal, which contribute to an even more individual aesthetic – from bar-end mirrors to a shapely single seat and rims made of billet aluminum with a contrasting finish.
