Photos: Triumph Ready for the next level of adventure bikes: TRIUMPH presents the new Tiger 900 model family
Relaunched for the 2024 model year, the Tiger 900 range from TRIUMPH Motorcycles offers more power and torque, further improved rideability and increased comfort. As a result, the new motorcycles raise the bar for mid-range adventure bikes a notch. The model range for 2024 includes the three models Tiger 900 GT, GT Pro and Rally Pro - all three motorcycles each score with a significant "more" in terms of performance as well as in terms of equipment. For the powertrain of all three model variants, TRIUMPH relies on the tried-and-tested three-cylinder engine with a displacement of 900 cc – the trademark of the Tiger 900 – which, however, has been extensively revised and improved in many parts. As a result, the Triple has 13 percent more power than the previous generation – with a peak output of 108 hp and a higher peak torque of 90 Nm.

The new engine also offers better low-end traction. With its special T-Plane crankshaft and offset ignition intervals, the Tiger 900 retains its characteristic and unmistakable power delivery and unique sound. Another plus: despite the higher power output over the entire engine speed range, it has up to 9 percent lower fuel consumption.
All-new active safety features on the new Tiger 900 models deliver enhanced performance in all areas, including an update to the brakes for better control and shorter braking distances, as well as a new emergency braking warning system.
In addition, new marker lights provide a striking silhouette – a significant safety plus, not only at night and in poor visibility. The new range also features a new 7-inch TFT instrument panel with redesigned graphics and a new menu system. In addition, there is an additional USB-C charging socket in the cockpit as well as My TRIUMPH Bluetooth connectivity, which is available as standard on all models.
The new driver's seat has a flatter design and offers a larger seating area and more room to move. Heated seats are standard on both Pro models for more long-distance comfort. In addition, the seat height is adjustable by 20 mm on all models. A heated low driver's seat is available as an accessory, which reduces the seat height by a further 20 mm. With this accessory option, the GT models potentially have a very low seat height of 800 mm compared to its class, which, in combination with the low crotch arch, further improves the accessibility of the new Tigers.

A new, cushioned handlebar bearing provides a more comfortable ride. In the Rally Pro variant, the positioning of the handlebars, which has now moved 15mm closer to the rider, enables a more agile ride in sitting and standing.
For even more tiger attitude, the 2024 model range features new bodywork at the front, cockpit and sides. The integrated design gives the bike an aggressive, adventure-oriented look, which is completed by new, modern and dynamic liveries and graphics.
Speaking of customization, a new Akrapovič silencer tops the comprehensive list of more than 50 accessories. In addition, customers can choose from four bespoke accessory packages for the new Tiger 900: the Performance, Protection, Trekker and Expedition kits.
