Honda puts BMW on the back burner thanks to new models

The new Hornet continues to sell very well

The new Honda CB750 Hornet continues to be a real seller. Already in the previous month, when the machine appeared for the first time in the registration figures of the IVM, it jumped immediately to 2nd place. This trend is now also confirmed in April: with 595 machines sold, the new Hornet cements its popularity and remains hot on the heels of the BMW R 1250 GS (888 new registrations).
 
Of course, this also has an impact on Honda's market share, which is now already around 18 percent. The gap to BMW (about 20 percent) continues to melt away. And this despite the fact that the Honda XL750 Transalp, which is also new, is not even represented in the April figures. We are therefore already looking forward to May!!! If the new Transalp (video test here) sells as well as its sister model Hornet, there could even be a replacement in market share - that would be a real thunderclap, but let's wait and see...
