The Multistrada 60,000 km European Tour has been successfully completed. The V4 Rally has crossed eight European countries from France and has arrived in Borgo Panigale, accompanied by a relay of motorcycle enthusiasts. It was driven by 29 different drivers from the participating countries. The participants reported on their travel experiences with pictures, text contributions and videos. The motorcyclists had the opportunity to choose a route from a wide variety of suggestions. When they had reached their destination, they handed over the motorcycle to the next participant. This resulted in a joint trip through the participating countries.
From
Nice , the Multistrada V4 Rally drove along the French Alpine roads to Bordeaux, proving its versatility even in difficult asphalt conditions. The next destination was Le Mans, where the selected rider was able to watch the MotoGP Grand Prix from the Ducati grandstand. This will be followed by the handover to the next driver, who headed for another iconic location, Spa-Francorchamps. The journey continued through the picturesque mountain regions
of Austria and included a detour to the capital Vienna.
The next stage of the Multistrada V4 Rally took them to
the UK, where the participants rode through Wales, Scotland and England before arriving at the historic Silverstone circuit. From here, journalist Nye Davis embarked on a long journey that took him to Misano for World Ducati Week, where the bike was admired by the enthusiasts present for three days.
There was no time to rest, and the Multistrada V4 Rally immediately set off again, reaching
Poland, where it crossed the typical rural landscapes of Eastern Europe, stopping in the cities of Warsaw and Krakow. The penultimate stage of the journey took place in the
Iberian Peninsula and took the motorcycle through the famous cities of Barcelona, Valencia, Seville, Lisbon and Madrid.
The project ended in
Italy, where five enthusiasts took turns descending the Tyrrhenian ridge, arriving in Sicily and then climbing back up to Borgo Panigale to end this unforgettable experience at Ducati's historic headquarters.
The Multistrada V4 Rally has covered a total of 67,925 km, almost twice the circumference of the Earth, exceeding the original goal. When checking the valve clearance - this measure is planned after the first 60,000 km - the bike showed no signs of wear. No adjustments were necessary, highlighting the high quality and reliability that characterize the Ducati Globetrotter.
The bike that played the main role in this trip will be on display in the entrance area of the Ducati Museum from February 28. The Multistrada V4 Rally is the Ducati for those who like to travel long distances. Thanks to the special attention paid to the comfort of the rider and passenger, the greater autonomy and the advanced suspension that makes it even more pleasant to use both on and off-road, the Multistrada V4 Rally is a motorcycle that feels at home both on dirt roads and in urban environments.
The official video of the project is now available on the Ducati YouTube channel. The routes covered by the participants, their stories and a visual representation of the journey can be found on the corresponding website (
