Bensheim, September 5, 2022 – Suzuki continues to expand its motorcycle portfolio and presents the new V-Strom 1050 in two versions for 2023. In addition to the V-Strom 1050 designed for the road, the V-Strom 1050DE (Dual Explorer) is also available for the first time as an off-road-optimised variant with a 21-inch front wheel and other segment-specific innovations.
The tradition lives on: 20 years of V-Strom
Since the introduction of the V-Strom 20 years ago, more than 100,000 units of the adventure bike have been sold worldwide, which has always been able to inspire with its high build quality and a powerful V2 engine. For its 20th anniversary, Suzuki is now launching the fourth generation of V-Strom, taking the unique driving experience to the next level.
Developed under the motto "Master of Adventure", the V-Strom models are excellent companions for every adventure. This applies equally to long-distance tours on the road or, more recently, to detours off the asphalt. Suzuki offers the right individual package for every application, which can be further optimized by an extensive range of original accessories.

The V-Strom 1050DE is aimed at customers whose thirst for adventure goes beyond paved roads. Key features are the special spoke wheels, off-road tyres and the 21-inch front wheel.
In addition, the V-Strom 1050DE offers greater travel, more ground clearance and, thanks to a swingarm reinforced at important points, also a longer wheelbase for optimum traction and superior off-road use.
Particularly noteworthy is the new switchable gravel mode. In gravel mode, the traction control allows a higher slip on the rear axle and also gives the option to deactivate the ABS on the rear axle.-
In addition, the Dual Explorer already has a wider handlebar, steel footrests, an engine protection bar with firmly screwed aluminium underride guard as standard. A shorter tinted windscreen also enhances the overall picture.
The new Suzuki V-Strom 1050DE is available at a price starting at 15,800 EUR (RRP of Suzuki Deutschland GmbH) in three colour variants: yellow-silver, blue-white and black. The colours of the wheels and seats are matched to the respective model colour.

The new Suzuki V-Strom 1050 is also available in three colour variants with matching rim colours: black, grey-black and blue-black. The recommended retail price of Suzuki Deutschland GmbH is 15,000 EUR.
